Born 1908 and raised in Kickapoo, Kansas, Roland "Kickapoo" Logan graduated from Leavenworth, Kansas Senior high in 1926.  He played halfback on the football team at Kansas University in Lawrence, coached at the West Point Military Academy, and was a Commander in the U.S. Navy.  He was also a member of the National Hall of Fame for athletic trainers.  He passed away in 1984.
