May 27, 1970

Dear Coach

Wish I could put on paper the feelings I have for you.

To think of the satisfaction that is yours as a result of shaping the lives and careers of so many people must be overwhelming.

Your help and guidance to me has put me in a position to enjoy a degree of success in the business world that would not have been possible without your help.  Many of your "boys" I'm sure feel as I do towards you.

You have produced All-Americans, World record holders and the such but I suspect the greatest satisfaction comes from the fact you helped shape the lives of so many whose names did not draw banner headlines.

The experiences your "ex's" have had with you are many and varied and as I write this letter I'm reminded of so many memories.

It was a great thrill to have you at my company's twentieth anniversary luncheon for me in Los Angeles in 1966.

Regret that I'm unable to attend your banquet.  Jo and I are leaving for the Orient.  We'll be with you in spirit.

God Bless - again thanks.

Cordially,Theno Graves Letter p2
