Marion Miller Letter

Dear Bill:
This letter is a poor substitute for the opportunity to attend the
"Friendship Ball" being held in your honor tonight in Emporia, but
unfortunately, I am unable to attend in person. Nothing but an impossible
conflict in dates could prevent me from being present to help you celebrate this
joyous occasion.
Needless to say, Bill, this meeting brings to mind many previous
get-togethers we have had through the years and I hope there will be many more
such enjoyable times. I only regret that I am not now living near you in the
great Midwest.
It is most fitting that this expression of the great esteem in which you are
held by your legion of friends should be recognized at this time.
I hope to be back in your area sometime soon and will surely see you then. In
the meantime, enjoy the "posies" and may nothing but the best in health and
happiness happen to you.
Sincerely yours,
Marion H. Miller
